Well theres only 8 days left of school and its a really weird feeling knowing that five years of yiour life has lead up to this next week. If you want to know the precise amount of time I shoved a counter in the sidebar on the homepage. What a busy week it will be, in particular on Friday Night with Formal and the after-formal party at Shazza’s . I’m heading down to Airlie Beach for Schoolies with Baxter, Tom and Milks. We’re staying at Club Croc like most of Iggy and a few from Cathedral. It’ll be an absolute blast, it only sucks that Club Croc doesn’t allow ‘Cordial’ in the rooms.

Also if you are a regular reader of this Blog from Cathedral, and I know a few are remember that you cvan order your Seniors DVD’s online from now until… well I really don’t know but it’ll probably be some time around Christmas.

I was reading an old Blog entry on Fruit Salad and Mixed Veg and stumbled upon a gem of Australian Culture… a list of stereotypical Australian traits and activities.

Until I read this I never realized how cliche some of the things Aussies do have become. From thelist I selected some of the more important traits and unusual activities that I exhibit:

• Do you own a dog? (little dogs such as Jack Russels and terriers don’t count) - Yes
• Have you ever taken a children’s blow up swimming pool to a sporting event/music festival or something smiliar? - Considered it… does that count?
• Does ‘concentrated yeast extract’ on toast sound appealing to you? - Mmmm Vegemite… Scary that I didn’t even have to look that up!
• Have you ever gone to the shops in your bathing costume? - Unfortunately for the shoppers
• Do you own more than 2 pairs of board shorts? - 5 pairs actually!
• Do you call anyone and everyone ‘mate’? - ‘course, mate
• Do you use your BBQ so much that ‘ya can’t be stuffed cleaning ‘er up’, mate? - Yer of course
• Do you own more than 2 pairs of thongs (shoes)?- Yep
• Do you think a sausage wrapped in bread with onions and tomato sauce sounds like a good lunch? - Who doesn’t like a snag on bread
• Do you like beer? - Hell yea!
• Do you think 20 Degrees Celsius is cold? - Fuck that is cold
• Do you think 32 Degrees Celsius ‘isn’t too hot’ - I live in North Queensland… what do you think?
• Have you ever been to the shop with no shoes? - All the time
• Is your favorite movies “The Castle” - Yer, got the DVD case on display in the pool room… well not really but love the movie!
• If you are male, do you wear your shirts regardless of the ‘hole’ factor? - Ask anyone… definite yes!
• Do you like to tease New Zealanders by saying “Fush and Chups” to them? - Or some stupid sheep joke!
• If your shed filled with junk and not a car? - Two sheds actually!
• Do you have more than 20 bottles of shampoo in your shower? - Yep… most of them empty
• Are all the powerpoints in your house overloaded? - Yep… OH&S violations galore!
• Do you have a pool? - couldn’t live without it!
• Do you find Ikea fascinating because it is Swedish? - Why else would you got to a giant furniture store… BTW new store in Brissy is enormous!
• Do you sing the chorus to “Long Way To The Top” as “it’s a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll”? - I’m sad to admit that I do
• Do you have parties in your drive ways? - Depends… but if we can.. yer!

Apart from proving myself a total Bogan I think it demonstrates an interesting fact… The Castle wasn’t that far from the truth!

Well, its been a while since my last post, but that doesn’t mean I havn’t forgotten about everyone. I’m gonna post some sweet stuff over the next few days so keep posted.
